So, I haven’t written an update in awhile.
The first thing that some of you might have already seen is that Autumn Frost is now available in LARGE PRINT! That is a very exciting new edition that I hope will enable more people to fall in love with Seasons of the Heart!
The second thing going on here at M.D. Schlatter Books is that I have started to receive the Manuscripts of Travane back from the Beta Readers. I am very excited to hear their comments and polish up the book. I’ve already had some constructive criticism and hope that I can improve on what has been written to make another engaging book.
While I wait for the other Beta Readers to get back to me, I am working on putting the extras in the back of the book and finalizing the cover. I’ve got the ISBN for the print book; however, I’ve hit a snag with the ISBN company and don’t have one for the eBook yet.
So I’m wondering…Do we need an eBook of Travane? What do you think? Would you like to read Travane on your device or computer? Let me know your thoughts in the comments!
And yes…I am working on Winter Tumult. However, I’ll be honest: it’s slow going. Not because I have writer’s block or anything like that, simply because there are not enough hours in the day. I promise though, I am working on it!
Another bit of information you might not be aware of is that my publisher, Dot’s House, has recently undergone an ownership change. This has produced a significant amount of work to transition everything and learn how to do things in a different way. I do think that area is finally stabilizing and I’m thankful for the opportunities given to me by Roxanne Converse-Whiting when she started Dot’s Micro-Publishing House! We wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for her foundational efforts.
